The additives in our formulation act like ball-bearings between metal surfaces and exfoliate to repair micro-cracking and spalling in contact situations. They form a micro layer on metals to protect the working surfaces and prevent them from touching.

The shape of the nano particles allows them to roll between the metal surfaces of engines, components and hydraulic equipment, reducing friction by up to 30%. The resultant lower wear leads to longer component life and lower operating temperatures allowing for greater productivity while lower contaminants extend oil life. These qualities reduce overall operating costs.
The WS2 additives have vastly superior lubrication properties compared with molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) additives which are commonly used in oils. WS2 is one of the most lubricous materials known to science and has a coefficient of friction of just 0.03. Its dry lubricity is unmatched by any other substance.
Proven benefits of nano oil additives in many applications
The addition of WS2 nano oil additives improves the lubricating and anti-friction properties of most engine oils, gear oils and greases, leading to lower operating temperatures, greater power and fuel efficiency, and lower component wear.
In a three month trial at an Indonesian coal project, WS2 was added to Total Rubio T177400 15W-40 diesel engine oil used in a Komatsu HD 465-7 Dump Truck with a Cummins SAA6D 120 E-5 engine. Engine oil life was extended 43% from 500 hours to 717 hours, fuel consumption decreased 7%, fuel burn rate decreased 4.7% compared with the previous three months, engine speed increased 3% and rear exhaust temperature decreased 4%.
